Work with Laura from Colourful Minds to make spooky stained glass window decorations & nightlights. Team up to make a giant window display as well as window decorations & nightlights to take home (plus extra easy & fun activities for smaller ones.)


£2.50 per child in advance or £3 per child on the door.

Brand new spooky stories & songs by makers of award-winning family theatre Brave Bold Drama told regularly throughout the day. Create a spooky costume & storybook in between storytelling sessions to really get into the spirit!


£2.50 per child/adult in advance or £3 per adult/child on the door.

10.30am-3pm (booking required)


Make a stop-go animation from scratch in just one day! Learn how to storyboard & illustrate your characters, use stop-go animation technology & create the soundtrack for the animation! For 8+. Drop off 10.30am, collect 3pm. Animation will be published online for you to watch.


£5 per child. Please book in advance. Bring a packed lunch or pre-order lunch from our cafe when you arrive.




Enjoy an award-winning film (rated PG) about Miguel who accidentally goes to the Land of the Dead. His great-great grandfather helps him return to his family. Doors from 11am, film begins 11.30am until 12.40pm followed by authentic Mexican Day of the Day crafts led by Viva Los Muertos from 1-3pm.

Live music, face-painting, messy play station, spooky arts & crafts and children's music activities. Also watch Halloween-themed animations made at previous Creative Workspace workshops, plus the chance to win some fantastic raffle prizes!

Bristol Family Arts Festival 2018


We are proud to be supporting this year's Bristol Family Arts Festival with our Halloween programme. This year's festival runs from 1st October to 3rd November 2018 and provides opportunities for families all over the city to enjoy the arts together.
